Just arrived. Hitachi HA-6800 integrated amp.

Seventy watts per channel of vintage mos-fet* musicality. A good description and review from Gramophone begins halfway down this page.

Hi Lloyd, try removing the ratty old power power cord and soldering on a nice fat new computer power flex and stand back be ready to be astounded at the performance increase in all your seventies amps. I stumbled on this mod recently and did the same to all 25 of my 70s amps. Give it a try and enjoy the difference :) cheers Brett

can you elaborate on what you mean by "computer power flex". And to the op, I can't seem to find any reviews by you on this hitachi amp. thanks from Toronto.

Hi I have 2 Hitachi HA 7700 amps. 1 working and the other in a state of repair. I was hoping to connect them together so they could run as a amp/preamp combo. Yours John
