These look like ESS AMT1 towers. These were offered to address the bass shortcomings of truncated pyramid-shaped AMT1's which featured a rather weak, flabby and boomy bass reflex woofer. What's more, the original AMT1 woofers were fragile. These towers were a transmission line design and the bass went deep and tight and they were bullet-proof.
